Nancy Ann Benedict, age 71 of Robbins and formerly of Waterbury, CT died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the home of her son and daughter in law.
A memorial service will be held from 12:00 - 6:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the American Legion Post 195 on Bunker Hill Road in Watertown, CT. There will be a private burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Born in Manhattan, NY she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Tulala Thieffrey and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Benedict who died in 2004.
She is survived by: her children Joe Danay and wife Jocelyn, Frank Daney all of Waterbury CT, Margaret LaVallee and husband Roger of Watertown, CT, Nicole Bologh and husband Rodney of Oakville, CT, Ralph Benedict, Lee Benedict and wife Rachel all of Robbins, NC; brother Charles Thieffery, Jr. and wife Beverly; sister Peggy Diforie and husband Salvator all of Waterbury, CT; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
