Nancy Deaton Brady, age 59 died Friday (May 6, 2011) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Fair Promise United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Mills and the Rev. Robert Kidd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Randolph County she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Emily Sheffield Deaton. She was a seamstress and had previously worked at Quality Mills in Carthage for several years. She enjoyed sewing, reading and singing. She was a devout and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Three brothers Robert, Jesse and Dale Deaton, and two sisters Lorene Mills and Colene Ritter preceded her in death.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Herbert Brady, daughter Wendy Bean and husband Kerry of Highfalls; son Dean Brady and wife Meredith of Highfalls; brother Virlin Deaton of Seagrove; sisters Barbara Campbell of Jackson Springs, Rosa Yearby of Pinehurst, Gail Wallace of Highfalls; grandchildren Madison Bean, Mason Bean and Emma Brady.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
