Nancy Garrison Chavez, age 62 of 121 Shenandoah Dr., went to be with the Lord Monday (June 18, 2007) at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Doub's Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Eric Joyce and Chaplain Nancy Garrison. Burial will follow in Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
A native of Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Opal Currie Garrison. She was employed by the Moore County Department of Social Services as a Processing Clerk. She was preceded in death by her son Carl Chavez in 1997.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Chavez; a son Paul H. Chavez of the home; a sister Paula Garrison of West End; brothers Wesley Garrison of Cleveland, TN and Marshal Garrison of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Currie and Trevor Chavez.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage 7:00 —8:30 P.M. Wednesday, at other times at her residence and after the services at the Doub's Chapel Fellowship Hall.
