Nancy Hill Kania

Carthage, NC Nancy Hill Kania, age 73 died Tuesday (June 13, 2006) at UNC Hospitals on Chapel Hill. Born in Dubois, PA she was a daughter of the late Walter G. and Mildred Lane Hill and was preceded in death by a daughter Sue Jones. She attended Glendon Independent Christian Church, was a retired Registered Nurse and volunteered with bloodmobiles in Moore and Lee Counties. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband and the entire family were looking forward to their 50th wedding anniversary this coming Friday (today). While she will be sorely missed her family knows that this "prayer warrior" is in glory. She was as woman of strong unshakable faith. Funeral services will be private for the immediate family only. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kania; daughter Judy Kinsela of Charlotte; sons Rick Kania of Asheville, Lee Kania of Charlottesville, VA, Jay Kania of Weaverville, Cris Kania of Morganton; brothers Alan Lane of Norfolk, VA, David Hill and Kenneth Hill both of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren Ricky, Kathy, Sharon, Cris, Ken, Elizabeth, Matthew, Jennifer, Sara, Rachel, Mary, Katie, Jack, Hannah, Sue, Lee, Daniel, Megan and Jacob; three great-grandchildren. Nearly 8 years now and still sorely missed.
11 years now, seems like a blink of an eye
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of the Lord abides forever. Praise His name for His eternal promise and the reunion to come.
