Nathaniel “Nat” Charles Miller, age 70, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 27, 2018 at
FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Nat grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin and retired from RTE/Cooper Power Systems after 25
years of service. He and his family moved to Vass, North Carolina in 1993 and he opened
Miller’s Family Restaurant in Vass. He and his family operated the restaurant for 25 years,
selling it earlier this year. Nat also served on the Cypress Point Fire Department.

Nat enjoyed camping and traveling and would often make trips back to Wisconsin to see his
family. He had an outspoken sense of humor and always had a witty comeback. He was well
loved by his family and those in the community who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Georgiann (Bralick) Miller, daughters Angela
(Christopher) Hildebrand of Carthage, NC, Teresa (David) Byrd of Gainesville, VA; son Jeffery
(Brenna) Miller of Fuquay-Varina, NC. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Amanda,
Alyssa, Jessica, Jacob, Amber, Kaylynne, Rebecca, Owen and Nora; by his great
grandchildren, Brooklynn, Liam, Myah and Cayden; by his sister Maxine (Sid) Miller and brother
Scott Miller of Wisconsin. He is further survived by his beloved dog Max and many other
friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Ardell (Lowe) Miller, his brothers Byron
and Richard Miller and by his sister and brother-in-law, Darolyn (Jim) Finley.

The family will receive friends at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Monday, October 29th.
