Nola Welch Hussey, 67, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home.

Funeral service will be 11 :00 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, with Dr. John Williamson officiating..  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Crystal Bartholomew.

A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late Thelma Davis.  She attended North Moore High School.  Later she attended Sandhills Community College where she got an associate degree in Medical Office Administration.  She retired from Pinehurst Surgical in June 2020. 

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nola was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Davis, brother: Donald Davis, daughter: Leslie Hussey.

She is survived by husband of 48 years Joel; daughters: Crystal Bartholomew and husband Phillip, Megan Hussey and fiancé, John Garner; son: Bradley Hussey and wife Tiffany; grandchildren: Corey (Sanona), Zack, Lauren, Summer, Hunter, Brookie, Aleah, Caleb, Brantley, Mason Caden, great-grandchildren:  Malaki, Oliver, Adaline and Brooklyn; brothers: Jerry Davis, Jimmy Davis (Katherine)..

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to assist with final expenses.

    I’m very sorry for your loss of sweet Nola. To know Nola was to love Nola. We met at Pinehurst Surgical when she came highly recommended from SCC. She was always so sweet and kind and a true asset. I enjoyed our long conversations and the love she shared for her family.
    I feel your loss and will keep you in my prayers in the weeks ahead.

  5. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Nola was especially kind to my mom, Aileen Garland. My mom got to know Nola through Leslie and they remained friends through the years. I worked with Nola during her time at Pinehurst Surgical-Womens Care.
