Ona Ruth Wike, 81, of West End, formerly of Danville, VA, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday at the New Covenant Fellowship Church with Pastor Lee McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Burial Park in Danville Va..
Mrs. Wike was a native of Franklin County, VA., and was the daughter of the late Posey Lester and Susie Ella Bell Carter. She was a retired Beautician. She was also preceded in death by thirteen sisters and brothers, three children, T.C. 'Jimmy' Wike, Ronnie D. Wike and Ricky L. Wike and one granddaughter, Jenny Rose Landolt.
She is survived by a daughter, Trish and husband David Landolt of West End, a granddaughter, Vanessa and husband Josh Perlman of Asheville NC and grandson Zachary W. Landolt of Asheville NC.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Sunday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home.
