Pamela Frye Taylor, age 66, died Wednesday at her residence.
Graveside Service 2:00 PM, August 2nd at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
A native of Moore County, she was the daughter of the late, Franklin O. Frye & Doris Frye. Pam was a United States Marine Veteran who served our country during the Korean War Era. She was a graduate of Sandhills Community College and worked as a dedicated and compassionate LPN for Dr. Davenport in Pinehurst and Dr. Mulholland in Shallotte and various nursing homes throughout her nursing career.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Stewart and husband Jeff of Bolivia and Karen Taylor of Carthage; one son, Todd Carson & wife, Connie of Broadway; two sisters, Susan Bethard of Eugene, Missouri and Conley Frye of Land O'Lakes, Florida; and eleven grandchildren, Austin,Dillion Jessie,Morgan, Matthew, Jordan,Anrew,Alex, Emily,Aaron, and Miranda.

  6. I am saddened to learn of Pam’s passing and offer my condolences to her sisters, children, and grands. Pam and I became close friends during the springtime of our lives while attending Sandhills College.
