Pamela Jane Jacobsson Halldorson, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her home.
Pam was born in Brooklyn, New York to Edward Gustav and Dorothy Thompson Jacobsson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Halldorson, her brother, Eric Jacobsson and sister, Suzie Jacobsson.
Pam is survived by her sons, Francis Gallagher and his wife, Betty, of Louisville, Kentucky and Michael Gallagher and his wife, Julie, of Clemson, South Carolina; daughters, Deb Holmes, of Aberdeen and Amy Halldorson, and her husband, Lou Neighbors, of Ellerbe, North Carolina; sister, Anne Boden and her husband, Jim, of Santa Fe, New Mexico; grandchildren, Courtney Holmes and her fiancé, Tim Dye, A.J. Holmes, Sterling Riddick, Brooke Tucker, Erin Harbison, Olivia Gallagher, Owen Gallagher, Zachary Gallagher, Jamie Gallagher Hammers, and Rachel Gallagher; and six great-grandchildren.
The care of Mrs. Halldorson has been entrusted to Powell Funeral Home.

I worked for Mrs G and then Mrs H when I was in high school. Babysat also in that big, beautiful home in Rockingham. She was a wonderful mentor and friend. Very sorry for your loss
