Patricia Ann Medlin Kennedy,73, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2021 at her home.

Patricia was a native of Moore County.  She worked as a weaver for many years in the textile industry.   Patricia loved to read and was a member at Flint Hill Baptist Church.   She loved her big family, as was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.  Time spent with her family was very special to her. Patricia was a daughter of the late John Curtis and Annie Frances Lane Medlin and was preceded in death by daughter: Kimberly Yahn; grandchildren: Bryan Frye, Kevin Smith; siblings: Frank Medlin, Doris Horner, JC Medlin.

Patricia is survived by her husband Charles; children: John Zebulon Cox and wife Vicky, Wanda Gonzalez and Michael Hawley, Lisa Smith and husband Stevie, Cindy Barbar, Pam Kennedy; grandchildren: Bradley Cox and wife Sheena, Shane Dees and wife Krista, Cody Dees and Marrisa Christian, Travis Goins, Corey Yahn and wife Hadin, April Moore; great grandchildren: Caleb Cox, Jessica Robinson, Carra Smith, Jason Robinson, Gabriel Goins, Sophia Dees, Ryan Dees, Alan Dees; great great grandchild:  Emery Robinson; siblings: Elaine Hardy, Curtis Medlin, Judy Blue, Jimmy Medlin; many nieces, nephews and friends..

Graveside service will be 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Williams Hancock officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 963 Flint Hill Church Road, Robbins, NC 27325.

    I am sorry for loss. Your mother was a very special person. She had a heart of gold . I didn’t get to know her long but what time I did spend with her was precious to me. She treated me like I was one of her own. May God keep her under his wing.
