Patricia Barber Yow, age 72 of Carthage passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Florida where she had resided close to her son for the last few years.

 

A private service will be held in Carthage. Pat will be laid to rest beside her husband, the late Frankie Yow.

 

A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late John Barber, Jr. and Ruby Mae McKenzie Barber. Pat worked in banking most of her life and retired from PNC Bank as branch manager.

 

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother Jackie Barber and sister Ruby Lee Sineath.

 

She is survived by her son Richard Yow and wife Kathleen Shelton-Yow of Port Orange, FL; sisters Nancy Cagle of Sanford, Brenda Lewis and husband Mickey of Carthage, Linda Nichols and husband Roger of Aberdeen; brother Johnny Barber of NC and Steve Barber of Carthage.

 

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage is serving the Yow family.
