Paul Tharrell Marley Sr

Paul Tharrell Marley, 78, of Robbins, NC, passed away on November 6, 2024.
Born on October 13, 1946, Paul dedicated much of his life to his work, first in textiles for 39 years with the majority being at Ithaca Industries (25 years). He spent the next 15 years at Moore Regional Hospital in the Materials Management Department. Upon retiring, he spent his days helping his son work at his shop, Marley’s Automotive. Tharrell was deeply committed to his family, whom he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Stinnett Marley; daughter, Shannell Marley Caulder and her husband, Clifton; grandchildren, Casey Marley, Leyton Caulder, Courtney Marley, Hailey Marley, and Preston Caulder; sisters, Diana Brady and Sharon Nall. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and a special buddy that called him Papaw; Griffin Williams. Tharrell was preceded in death by his father, Paul Jefferson Marley; mother, Rillie Marley Turner; sister, Barbara Saunders; and son, P.T. Marley.
A graduate of Elise High School, Tharrell enjoyed spending time with friends at the local convenience stores.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Kennedy Funeral Home, with the Reverend John Stinnett officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.

remember Tharrell from school & seeing him at the
Crossroads & hospital. He was a great person,
Quiet & did great work at the hospital.
