Pauline Welch Frye, age 75, of Robbins, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. After a long battle with Alzheimers Disease.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Bright Light Baptist Church with the Reverend Ralph Voncannon officiating. Burial will follow at the Frye Family Cemetery in Robbins.
A native of Moore County, she was born September 26, 1938 to the late Jessie and Etta Welch. Pauline worked in hosiery industry as a sewing machine operator for over 20 years. She was known for being a loving mother and grandmother. Before her sickness, she had an outgoing personality and loved caring for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Frye; grandson: Eric Bowles; sisters: Mandy Welch, Dorothy Kennedy, Thelma Davis, all of Robbins; brothers: Robert Welch, of Bennett, Billy Gene Welch, of Coleridge.
She is survived by sons: Randy Frye, of Highfalls, Ronald Frye, of the home, Michael Frye, of Eagle Springs; daughters: Kay Kivett, of Robbins, Kathy Bowles, of Carthage; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers: Eli Junior Welch, of Robbins, Worthy Welch of Seagrove.
The family would like to express their sincere love and appreciation to Mrs. Clarice Butler, caregiver, for all the love shown to their mom.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2014 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Alzheimer Association Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215 or Bright Light Baptist Church, 541 Plank Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
