Peggy Beck Seawell

Peggy Beck Seawell,77, of Asheboro, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 549 Plank Road, Robbins, NC, with Reverend Todd Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Peggy grew up in Robbins and was a 1965 graduate of Elise High School. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Peggy retired from the Randolph County Department of Social Service with 25 years of service. She began playing the piano in church at a young age and continued for most of her life. Waddell Memorial Chapel was a church started by her father and she played for him there many times. She was a daughter of the late Reverend Robert “Mack” Beck and the late Donner Cockman Beck.
Peggy is survived by children: Steven P. Seawell, of Asheboro, Pamela S. Wallace and husband Chris, of Asheboro, Chanda S. Leonard and husband Chad, of Bennett; Jason D. Seawell and wife Jamie, of Highfalls; grandchildren: Wendy Baker, Dalton Seawell, Christian Wallace, Carley Leonard; one great granddaughter; half siblings: Vance Beck (Wanda), Tim Beck (Donna), Vickie Jackson (Mickey), Nathan Beck (Shondra); many nieces, nephews and friends.

Prayers for her family!!
were good friends throughout our years as classmates at Elise. She always had a smile. I remember we had Typing Class together. Back then there was only one electric typewriter in our class and Peggy always got to use it since she was the fastest typing student….,the rest of us had to use the antique manual ones.
May our Lord bring comfort to the family during this sad time.
