Peggy Grubbs Robinson 85, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 27, 2016, surrounded by her family.

 

Funeral service will be held Saturday,  April 30, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Robbins First Baptist Church, with the Reverend Kenneth McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery.

 

Peggy  worked in the textile industry and was a homemaker.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She especially loved spending time with her great grandson: Boyce.  Peggy enjoyed shopping, music, movies and vegetable gardening. She was a daughter of the late Glenn and Mattie Key Grubbs and Edna Grubbs and was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Boyce Robinson.

 

Peggy is survived by daughter: Vicki Perry and husband Ross, of Southern Pines,  granddaughter: Olivia Lawson Perry;  great grandson: Boyce Gilliam Perry; sister: Joanne Roach; brothers: Glenn Grubbs, Jr. and wife Jean, Donald Gregory Grubbs and wife Linda, Van Workman and special friend, Juana Hernandez.
