Phillip D. Cagle, Jr., age 41 died Thursday (August 19, 2010) at FirstHeath Moore Regional Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. David Reynolds. The family will receive friends following the service.
A native of Randolph County he was a carpenter and handyman by trade.
He is survived by: wife Theda Durbin; children Matthew Cagle of Asheboro, Heather Cagle and Amanda Cagle both of Arkansas, Deanna Cagle, Thad Cagle, Joshua Cagle, Ashley Cagle and Bethany Durbin all of Carthage; parents Phillip D. Cagle of Carthage and Mary Ann Williams of Asheboro; sister Crystal Cagle of Carthage; brother Jimmy Cagle of Asheboro; one granddaughter Matilyn Grace Cagle.

I first met Phillip and his wife Theda, at Flow Moore Skate Park when it was in the old warehouse. My first thought was like wow this dude skateboards..lol…but he did and him and his wife were the nicest people. They took us in as friends and treated us
