Phyllis Marjorie Lash, 85, of Pinehurst died Friday November 1, 2013.
Born November 4, 1927 in Anderson, IN she was a daughter of the late William and Laida Miner Austin and the adoptive daughter of the late Arthur and Violet Morse Farley.
Mrs. Lash was a former Fashion Model.
She is survived by her husband of 61years, Harry Lash of Pinehurst, two sons, Harry Lash, III and wife Mildred of Nashville, NC and Robert Lash and spouse Kathy of Lorain, OH, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Moore County Humane Society, 5355 NC Hwy 22, and Carthage, NC 28327.

I only knew my grandma when I was a child. As I aged I saw her less and less but my love for her never faded. She was so sweet and would tell you exactly what was on her mind. Grandma I love you so much and I am so sorry that I couldn’t get to you sooner.
The belle of the ball. I was blessed to be her granddaughter and to have been loved by her so dearly. She will forever hold a place in my heart.
