Remella Moore Seawell, 74 died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Siler City Center and Rehabilitation, Siler City, NC.

 

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend James Cockram and Reverend Edwin Moore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

 

Remella graduated from Westmoore High School and loved her community.  She worked in textiles, was a homemaker and cared for many children in her home. Remella served the Lord, cooking and sharing meals with many members of the local community. She loved her family and spending time with them, she was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

 

Remella was a daughter of the late George Henry and Vandy Hussey Moore and was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

 

Remella is survived by her husband of  54 years Bert Seawell;  sons: Stan Seawell and wife Rachel, Brett Seawell and wife Wendy; daughter: Cindy Stinson and husband Mark;  brother: Vernon Moore, grandchildren: Nathan Seawell and wife Heidi, Stephanie Seawell, Melanie Greene and husband Shaun, Matt Monroe and wife Liz, Macon Monroe and wife Sherry, Whitney Seawell, Austin Seawell, Cade Seawell; 5 great-grandchildren.

 

The family would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers, especially the staff of Siler City Center  for the care provided.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Needhams Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 359 Needhams Grove Road, Seagrove, NC 27341
