Rhonda Ann Murphy, age 52 of Carthage and formerly of Pennsylvania died Saturday (6, January 2018) at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Yates-Thagard Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Steve Johnson. Burial will be in Mossville Cemetery near Benton, PA. The family will receive friends prior to the service in at the church beginning at 12:00 PM.

A native of Luzerne County, PA. she was a daughter of Pepper Martin Robbins and Sylvia Ann Whitesell Robbins.

Rhonda was a devoted servant of Christ, wife, mother, grandmother. She was a home educator and homemaker. She home schooled her four children and was an active member of Yates-Thagard Baptist Church. Her ministry was far reaching even unto the final days of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband William Patrick “Bill” Murphy; her children Ryan N. Murphy Ulrich and husband Edward of Tramway (Sanford), Dakota L. Murphy of Cameron, Billy Rae I. Murphy Whittaker and husband Ricky of Louisburg, William John “Jay” Murphy of Carthage; step brother Nick Conti of Nescopeck, PA; grandchildren Ryker, Breckon, Rylie and two others soon to be born.

In loving memory of Rhonda A.
