Rhonda Phillips Flinchum, 64, of Eagle Springs, went to her heavenly home, Saturday, June 4, 2022. 

Rhonda was born April 9, 1958 in Randolph County to the late Rodney and Mary Ann Phillips. She was a 1976 graduate of Eastern Randolph  High School.  She attended Sandhills Community College and later earned her Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography from Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC.  Rhonda was a former Cardiac Sonographer at First Health Moore Regional Hospital and later worked at Pinehurst Cardiology Consultants.

Rhonda was a wonderful wife and loving mother and grandmother.  She married the love of her life, Terry Flinchum, on February 29, 1992.  Rhonda will be greatly missed by her family and friends

In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her brother: Reggie Phillips.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Flinchum; son Jeremy Phillips and wife Angie, stepdaughter Wendy Quick and husband Troy;  grandchildren: Jasmine Brady and husband Dustin, Holly Scott and husband Tyler, Travis English, Gracie Williams, Leah Quick, Mason Quick;  great grandchildren: Landon Brady, Luke Brady, Lizza Brady and Lynleigh Brady: sisters Teresa Weaver, Sharon Phillips; brother Todd Phillips; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved Fur-babies- Moe and Boobie.

Visitation will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the home of Terry and Rhonda.  

 The family will receive family and friends at the home of her son, Jeremy,  17204 NC Hwy. 24-27, Biscoe, NC.

Memories of our youth, of school in Coleridge.Playing with you Teresa, Sharon and Reggie. You and I staying after school for ball games.Sunday afternoons with you and your grandparents on your Moms side. Your aunt Jane always made us cookies!   3. I am so very sorry to hear of Rhonda’s passing. She was such a sweet person. I really enjoyed reconnecting with her on Facebook. We used to play together as little girls and were second cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with the family now and in the coming days.

    Had the chance to talk a couple of times a while back and shared some old memories, and a lot of laughs.
