Richard Carl Pennypacker, 86, of Carthage, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023, peacefully at home, surrounded by family.

The family will receive friends at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

A native of Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Donald Pennypacker and Dorothy Moyer Pennypacker.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara; two sons, Kyle and Craig Pennypacker and a grandson, Justin Pennypacker.

He is survived by his son, Scott Pennypacker and wife Sharon of Easton, PA; his daughter, Kelly Mahowski and husband Dennis of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Jason Pennypacker and wife McKenna, Melissa Mitchell and husband Brandon, Ryan Mahowski, Nicole Varner and husband Preston; great grandchildren Kyle and Kaylie Mitchell.
