Richard (Dick) James Blankley, 77, died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Our Saviour Lutheran Church with the Rev. Larry Wolff officiating.
Born November 18, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer and Margaret Foster Blankley. Mr. Blankley was a United States Air Force Veteran, a Design Draftsman, an avid hunter, golfer, and pilot.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Fay Blankley of Pinehurst, two daughters, Linda Harriz (Tom) of Greenville, SC and Laurie Longstaffe (Colin) of Melbourne, FL, one son, Dale Richard Blankley (Beth) of Hammonton, NJ, one sister Margaret Elizabeth Sperling (George) of New Hope, PA, and seven grandchildren, Sheena, Christopher, Rachel, Jordan, Mathew, Mychael, and Mikayla. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Davina Blankley.
Friends are invited to visit with the family following the service in the church fellowship hall.
