Richard Jerry Oldham, age 70, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his residence.
A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM Friday at Culdee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Joseph Washburn officiating. Burial will follow
in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
A native of Nansemond County, Virginia he was the son of the late Donald Oldham and Fannie Bosworth Oldham. He retired from Moore County as a property manager. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Raybe Revelle and Frances Ingram, brothers William Oldham, Vernon Oldham, Lloyd Oldham,Byron Oldham, Ralph Oldham and two grandsons, Travis Oldham and Dustin Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Shaw Wicker Oldham; children, Jason Oldham of Star; Ashley Lewis & husband, Jeff of Vass; Nathan Oldham & wife, Gretchen of Carthage; Lauren Stone & fiance, Michael Garner of Vass & Haven McRae & husband, Jack of Carthage; two brothers, Donald Oldham & wife, Shirley Oldham of Pinehurst and Wayne Oldham & wife, Donnie of Aberdeen; four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the choir at Culdee Presbyterian Church, PO Box 399, West End, NC 27376.
