Robert A. McNulty, age 80 of Carthage, died Thursday (November 20, 2008) at his home.
Services will be held 3:30 P. M. Monday at Pinelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Southern Pines with Military Honors, conducted by the Rev. Gregg Newton.
A native of Scranton, PA. he was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a Standard Bred Horse Driver/Trainer and operated the Eastwood Tack Shop until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Catherine H. McNulty; a daughter Roberta LaClair of Carthage; two sisters Patricia Enrightnof Auburn, NY and Sally Walch of Lanesboro PA; two grandchildren Adam LaClair and Jason LaClair; five great-grandchildren Brandon, Lauren, Jasmine, Kristen and J. R.
The family will receive friends 6:00 —8:00 PM Sunday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. McNulty. He was a genuinely nice person and very knowledgeable of horses.
It was a pleasure to have known him and to have learned from him.
