Robert C. Jarman, 68,  passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, with the Reverend Dr. John Williamson, Reverend Allen Mashburn and Reverend Edwin Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. 

Robert was born July 17, 1950 in Morehead City, NC and spent most of his adult life in Moore County.  He was an accountant and later President, of The John Plant Company, where he retired after 41 years. He also operated Jarman Tax Service for 50 years and R J Sports for 6 years.  He believed in and enjoyed working. Robert enjoyed meeting people and had a real servant’s heart. He was a faithful member of Acorn Ridge Baptist Church, serving in many roles over the years, such as Church Clerk, Deacon, Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, Youth Director, Sunday School Superintendent and Director of Children's Church. Robert was a loving son, husband and friend to many.  He also enjoyed caring for his home and yard.

Robert is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith, of the home; mother: Frances Jarman, of Robbins; beloved dog, Ruby, 4 cats; uncles: Graham Bradshaw and wife Marcia, Florida, Richard Bradshaw and wife Dale, Newport, NC, Laurie Bradshaw and wife Barbara, Beaufort, NC and many friends.

The Jarman family would like to thank the caregivers from Hospice and friends of the family, Darrell Welch and Stan Seawell.
