Robert “Bob” David Stone age 86 of Sanford died Friday, September 15, 2017, at Sanford Health & Rehab in Sanford.

 

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.

 

A native of Lee County he was a son of the late James David and Lula Mae Parrish Stone and was preceded in death by a brother Malcolm Stone.

 

He was survived by brothers Jack Stone of Supply, Jerry Stone and Nick Stone of Sanford and sister Priscilla Parrish of Sanford; a special niece and caretaker Susan Patterson as well as other nieces and nephews.

 

Robert worked many years for A&P Grocery in Sanford, Carthage, and Fayetteville, and later worked for Kerr Drug in Carthage.

 

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage will be serving the family.
