Robert 'Jim' James Phillips

Robert James “Jim” Phillips, age 83 of Carthage died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Carthage. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday at other times at the home.
Born in Kansas City, MO, Jim spent most of his life in Moore County. He worked in marketing and later as a printer for Moore County Schools.
He was preceded in death by a sister Anne Vann Meadows.
He is survived by his wife Judith Foster Phillips; son Christopher Phillips of Southern Pines; sister Linda Ammons of Red Springs; brother Thomas “Skip” Vann of Greensboro.
