Robert Stanley Gardner, 74, died Friday, November 26, 2021 at Alpine Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Theodore and Julia Bodford Gardner. He worked in construction for many years as a concrete finisher. Robert enjoyed fishing and liked to watch NASCAR racing. Robert was a very talented mechanic and was known for his skill in engine repair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Curtis Gardner, Mary Gardner Garner, May Gardner Britt, Annie Ruth Gardner.
Robert is survived by children: Shaun Gardner, Sharon Sikes, Janie Wilson, Ted Gardner; grandchildren: Dylan Sikes, Sarah Sikes, Julia Dauer, Ashley Wilson, Dax Wilson, Dalton Nance; great grandchildren: John Lapine, Colt Dauer; sisters: Virginia Morris, Berta Gardner; brothers: John Gardner, Charles Gardner.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
