Robert Wingo 61, of Blacksburg, Virginia, formerly of the Westmoore Community died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Putnam Friends Church with the Dr. John Williamson officiating.
Mr. Wingo was a native of Montgomery County, Virginia. He lived in Blacksburg but spent several months out of the year in the Robbins area, coming for Christmas and the summer months to visit family. He planned to retire to the Robbins area next summer. Mr. Wingo was preceded in death by his parents William Marvin and Dorothy Beckett Wingo.
Robert is survived by sisters: Margaret DiNubila and husband Bob, of Clayton, Jeanne Forrest, of Seagrove: uncle, Les Beckett, of Selma: several nieces, nephews and cousins.
