Robin Dawn Gholden, 44, of NC Highway 24/27, died on May 29, 2009 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Worman Bartholomew. She is survived by her husband, Clint Gholden, daughter, Ashley Dawn, father, Stanley Bartholomew. She is also survived by eleven brothers and sisters, Stanley Bartholomew of Pa., Gary, Dennis, Ronnie, Ricky, and Kevin Bartholomew of NJ, Phillip Bartholomew of NC, Robert Bartholomew of SC, Anita Lucas of NJ, Madonna Yow of NC, and Deanna Bartholomew of SC. She is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews as well as many friends and loved ones.
Mrs. Gholden was employed by Klaussner Furniture of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins and at other times at the home of Phillip and Crystal Bartholomew, 888 East Chrisco Road, Seagrove, North Carolina.
In liew of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice at 147 MacArthur Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
I worked with Robin at klaussner, she will truly be missed our thoughts and prayers are with the family.Robin was truly a blessing to know. God Bless
It has been a very long time since ive seen aunt robin but i am truly sorry i remember her when i was younger and we use to go down to grandmas house all my love and sympathy

I am so sorry about your loss. I worked with Robin for 9 years at Candor Hosiery Mills. I was the plant nurse there. She was always smiling and was a very hard worker. It is such ashame that this happened to her at such a young age. May God Bless and comf
