Ruby F. Barron, 69, of 148 Sunset Dr., died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2009 at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins with the Rev. Junior Frank Davis officiating.
A native of Baltimore MD she was a daughter of late William C James. She was a homemaker, she loved and enjoyed babysitting all children and would often pray for other people. She was preceded in death by: brother Albert James, and granddaughter Amanda Wright.
She is survived by husband, John E. Barron, Jr.; daughters Connie Long and husband Bobby of Robbins, Gale Ness, of Robbins, Patty Roberts and husband Dan of Robbins; step-daughter Sharon Dill husband Jim of Seven Valleys, PA; son Leo Ness and wife Bonnie of Robbins; mother, Mamie James of Franklinville, NC, sisters Janie Cox of Franklinville, Vickie Clark of West End; brothers Robert James of Highfalls, David and Clifford James of Sugar Grove, VA.
The Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Kennedy Funeral Home and all other times at the home of Patty Roberts at 171 Sunset Dr. Robbins.

I can\’t be there in person, but my thoughts and prayers are with each & every one of you. Ruby was a very special person. She always treated Eddie & I as part of her family. Take comfort in knowing that she is at peace now and with Jesus.
