Ruby Lee Holder

Ruby Lee Williamson Holder, age 75 of Carthage died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. William J. Maness, Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Ellis Holt and Eva Sanders Williamson. She worked for many years with J.P. Stevens before operating Village Cleaners in Carthage. Ruby was well known and loved in the Carthage area for her interest in the community and ability to make everyone feel appreciated. The Village Cleaners was a place for locals and law enforcement officers to stop in and visit while picking up laundry, whenever Ruby was there.
She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Holder, Jr.; two brothers Garland and Earl Williamson.
She is survived by: daughters Brenda Holder Kimball and husband David of Cameron, Tammy Ross of West End; sister Annie Goodwin; her longtime friend and companion Floyd Black; grandchildren Kevin, Jennifer, Bridgette, Jessica and Joshua; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the home.
