Ruth Kennedy Hussey, 81 of 9566 Erect Rd. died Friday, October 2, 2009 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Needhams Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. James Cockram officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hussey was a native of Randolph County and was a homemaker. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Graham Hussey: daughter, Wanda H. Chalflinch and a grandson: Michael Hussey.
Surviving is son: L. Wayne Hussey and wife Janice of Seagrove and Wendell Hussey and wife Lisa of Robbins.
Daughter: Wilda Hussey of Robbins.
Sister: M. Wilma Kennedy of Robbins.
Grandchildren: Timmy Reed, Frankie Shaw, Jennifer Hussey, Aubrey Hussey and Austin Chalfinch.
Great " grandchildren: Dylan Hussey, Corey Hussey, Alexis Hussey, Macy Reed, Kolbie Shaw, Adin Shaw, Trace Shaw and Ethan Craig.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 6:00 " 8:00 PM. and other times at the home.
