Survivors include two daughters, Karen Stephens of Sparks, NV and Destiny McCorkle of Box Elder, SD and one sister, Sara Dykstra of Sacramento, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Firsthealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, or to the Moore County Humane Society, P.O. Box 203, Southern Pines, NC 28388.

The family requests that no food be brought to them as they will soon be leaving to return to their homes out of state.
