Shawna Scantlin

Mrs. Shawna Scantlin, age 47 of Edinburgh Dr., Carthage, NC died Tuesday.
A daughter of James Hunter and the late Shirley Clevenger Forgason she was a supervisor at the Pantry Corporation in Sanford. Her husband and mother-in-law Carol Scantlin of Morehead City owned and operated Audibel Hearing Solutions.
Funeral services were held 4:00 P. M. Friday (June 2, 2006) at the Carthage United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Chuck Plowman. Burial followed in Pinelawn Cemetery.
She is survived by: husband Val Scantlin; a son Brett Cormier of Raleigh; father James Hunter of South Carolina; three sisters Julie Rhodes of Bella Vista, AR, Lori Forgason of Oklahoma City, OK and Renee Forgason of Lafayette, LA; aunts and uncles Harold and Gerrie Frisch of New Jersey and Vern and Pat Clevenger of West Virginia.
