Sherry Joy Margaret Hoeppner, age 61, of Robbins, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. 

Born in Camden, SC she was the daughter of Janett Norris Nelson and the late Harry Cheek. 

Sherry had a heart of gold, she was always willing to help without ever being asked. She was a hard worker and loved to work as long as she was able. She later on stayed home to care for her mother.  She enjoyed playing Candy Crush and scrolling through Facebook. She loved spending time with her family. Family was so important to her. Sherry loved to collect Paparazzi jewelry and had enough to start her own store. Her favorite color was purple, she loved the Carolina Panthers and her favorite animal was horses. 

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband: Gordon “Gordy” Hoeppner; son: Timothy “Timmy” Lee Davis; and brother: Roger Kinlaw; step sister: Sherry Cook. 

She is survived by her fiance: Jerry “Peanut” Garner of Robbins; children: Larry Davis and wife Tonia of Robbins, Beth Laws and husband Ricky of Asheboro, Klavin Hoeppner and fiance Sam of Indiana; her fur baby: Rebel; brother: Michael Douglas of Camden, SC; sister: Harriett McCaskill and husband Ike of Robbins; step sister: Sharon and husband Brent Freeman of Eagle Springs: grandchildren: Madison, Mitchell, Savannah, Kirsten, Maelee, Bradlee, Ayden, Claire, Charlie; great grandchild: Anna; nieces and nephews: Georgia, Elizabeth, Levi, Riley. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 3 PM at First Baptist Church in Robbins.
