Sherwood "Snowball" Wilson, Jr., age 53 of Jonathan Lane died Friday (October 26, 2007) at the residence of his brother Larry Wilson.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church cemetery conducted by the Rev. Roger Thomas.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Sherwood and Doris Knight Wilson. He was preceded in death by: brother Donnie Wilson, sisters Darlene W. Gautier and Barbara W. Starr.
He is survived by: daughters Eliza Hall and husband Troy of Sanford, Casey Wilson of Sanford; sons Phillip and Thomas Wilson both of Sanford; brothers Larry, Harold and David Wilson all of Broadway; sisters Betty Dennis of Mamers, Dorothy Bradford of Lillington; companion of 20 years Melanie Thomas of Sanford; grandchild Hunter Hall; 10 nieces and four nephews.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage Sunday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence of Larry Wilson, 203 Garland-Sloan Lane, Broadway.
The family requests donations to be made to: Eliza Hall, 1009 Gunter Lake Road, Sanford, NC 27332 to help with medical and funeral expenses.
