Shirley Ann Wall Lassiter 78, went home to be with her Lord,  Saturday, November 8, 2014.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Pineywood Baptist Church, with the Reverend Paul McClure and Reverend Larry Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 

Shirley was a native of Moore County.  She loved the Lord and her church.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains, gospel sings and North Carolina Tar Heel Basketball.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved spending time with friends and family.

 

Shirley was a daughter of the late Hubert Ernest and Mary Lou Etta Edmonds Wall. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lassiter, sisters: Stella Powers, Alma Weston; brothers: Spencer, Clyde, Curtis, Leighton, Elmer Wall.

 

Shirley is survived by sons: Michael Lassiter and wife Leigh, of Carthage; Steven  Lassiter, of Cameron, daughter: Beth Robinson and husband, Bo, of Carthage;

brother: Odell Wall, sister: Ruby Holland, grandchildren: Andrea Snipes, Amber Lassiter, Seth Lassiter. great granddaughter: Grace Snipes.

 

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Powell Funeral Home, Southern Pines, NC.

 

Memorial may be made to a charity of your choice.
