Shirley Ritter Hinson 64, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the home of her daughter.  

  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend David Woodhouse officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   

  Shirley was a native of Moore County, who loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible. She loved cooking, gardening  and taking vacations with her family.  Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren Jake and Lillie.  Shirley enjoyed working at First Bank in Robbins, where she was employed for 26 years.  She was a very faithful, Christian woman, an active member at Smyrna United Methodist Church and loved her church family dearly.  

  Shirley was preceded in death by her husband: Fredrick Hinson; parents: Ellis and Lillie Clark Ritter; brother: Tommy Ritter; sisters: Norma Maness, Thelma Garner; mother-in-law: Mamie Collins; brother-in-law John Reynolds; sisters-in-law: Maxine Poole,  Pauline Painter and Doris O’Neill.

  Shirley is survived by daughter: Kelly Coble and husband, Adam of Rockingham; sons: Josh Hinson of Randleman and JB Hinson of Bennett; grandchildren: Jake and Lillie Coble; sisters: Inez Reynolds and Rachel Ritter; brother: Billy Ritter and wife, Wendy; brothers-in-law: Grant Maness, Norris Garner, Lewis Painter and Carol Poole; sisters-in-law Mabeline Brower (Edsel), Lorine Coggins (Max), Patty Phillips (Michael) and Illene Coggins (Bill): and her many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

  Memorials  may be made to Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 203 Smyrna Church Road, Robbins, NC 27325 .

  Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Hinson Family.
