Stanley Ray Marley, age 68, of Seagrove passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 at his home.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Charles and Lula Ritter Marley. Stanley graduated from North Moore High School and earned an associated degree in gunsmithing from Montgomery Community College. He was an avid fly fisherman early in life and enjoyed working with guns.
He was preceded in death by his sister in law Chrissy Marley and his first wife Bonnie Faulkner.
He is survived by his daughter Jamie Garner and husband Gary of Robbins; his son Nathaniel Marley, his wife Ashley of Robbins and his mother Teresa New; sister Christina Deane and husband Scott of Virginia; brothers Daniel Marley and wife Leanna of Seagrove, Kerry Marley of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren Kevin Garner and wife Kaitlyn and Adalyn Marley.
The family would like to especially thank Susan who was Stanley’s Hospice nurse and Lauren his wound care nurse for all the care and compassion they showed to Stanley and the family.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at Needham’s Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the sanctuary and in the fellowship hall after the service.
