Stephen D. Brown, age 28 of 104 Furrville Drive and formerly of Carthage died Saturday (July 21, 2007) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Middle Cross Baptist Church conducted by Pastor David Reynolds. Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of Doug and Bonnie Brown of Carthage and was a 1997 graduate of Union Pines High School. He was a maintenance supervisor with the Veterinary-Equine Research Center of NC State University in Southern Pines and was for several years a volunteer with the Carthage Fire Department.
In addition to his parents he is survived by: his wife Stacy McCaskill Brown; a daughter Jessica Parsons of the home; sisters Donna Shortt and husband Darrell of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lynn Kamer and husband Joe of Carthage; a niece Nicole Shortt and a nephew Douglas Shortt.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 —8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
