Stephen Lawrence Sidur,73 of 547 Fentress Rd. went to his heavenly home on Monday March 28, 2011.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Smyrna United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tal Madison. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
A native of Cleveland, OH, Steve retired after 21 years in the US Air Force. He served during the Vietnam War. He worked for 28 years with the US Post Office serving Moore County. Steve was a life long patriot and a devoted family man.
Surviving are his wife Ellena Hussey Sidur of the home, daughters; Susan S. Garner and husband Dean of Robbins; Kim Wood of Randleman and Bonnie Taylor and husband Allen of Goldsboro; sons Chuck Wood of Hubert, NC and Bob Wood of Raleigh, NC.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and other times 547 Fentress Rd. Robbins, NC 27325.
