Stephen (Steve) Nall, age 58 of Cameron, went to his heavenly home Friday March 2, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer, lovingly surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at New Covenant Fellowship Church, Carthage, NC, with Reverend Lee McKinney and Reverend Don Edwards officiating, burial will follow in Johnson Grove Cemetery, Vass, NC.
Steve was born in Southern Pines, on March 3, 1959 to the late William and Stella Nall. He was owner/operator of Nall Contractors, LLC in Cameron, NC and worked passionately for over 30 years to provide for his family. He loved riding atv’s and motorcycles. He enjoyed going fishing and camping. He was always up for spontaneous road trips with no specific destination in mind. Steve was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back for someone in need. He always said it’s not about the money that you make, it’s about loving the job that you do. He was the best husband, daddy, and papa anyone could ask for. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Warren Nall, brother in law: Glen Patterson, father in law: James Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Beverly, Children: Amie (Mark) Patterson, Kevin (Karen) Nall, Raven (Trey) Caddell, Stetson (Ashley) Nall, Grandchildren: Gavin, Haven, Jasmine, Savannah, Taylor, Jordan, Kenly, and Weston, Sister in law: Martha (Danny) Campbell, Sisters: Eva Patterson, Martha (John) Seago, Nita (Steve) Coltrane, Brothers: Larry (Joanie) Nall, David (Kayly) Nall, Mother in law: Robbie Taylor, many nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday March 5, 2018 at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home, Carthage, NC and at other times at the home, 385 Oakley Road Cameron.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to FirstHealth Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC or the charity of your choice.

I know this is several years late, but I am Billy’s Black’s grandson form Darlington. My uncle was Eddie that use to camp with you all back in the day. My prayers go out to the family this many years later. My grandpaw Billy has since passed. We resumed going back to Darlington in 2018 camping for the fall race hoping to to see the old gang there… Prayers!
