Steven Big Boy ? Roger Sheffield 40, of 654 Forrest Street, died Tuesday May 4, 2010 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins, with Reverend Ralph VonCannon officiating.
Mr. Sheffield was a native of Randolph County and was employed with R & R Auto Parts in Robbins. He was a dedicated horse and mule lover. Steven enjoyed wagon trains and driving the wagon in parades. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Albert and Jessie Speer Tyner and Donnie and Nettie Sheffield, brother, Jason Sheffield and uncle, Roger Tyner.
He is survived by parents, Jerry and Clara Sheffield, adopted son, Chris Little Man ? McCaskill, girlfriend, Brenda J. Garner, brother, Kenneth Sheffield and wife Lisa, nephew, Brantley Tyndall, many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at Kennedy Funeral Home in Robbins and other times at the home.
