Sue Renn Short, age 72 of Carthage died Tuesday (September 5, 2017) at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sanford.
Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Cross Hill Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Jim Bolyard. The family will receive friends at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
A native of Vance County she was a daughter of the late Otho and Cora Lee Moore Renn. She graduated from Henderson High School and was married to the late Wade Short. She owned and operated the Christian book store in Carthage and later worked at Waldenbooks in Southern Pines. She retired from Moore County Schools where she worked as a secretary in the maintenance department.
She is survived by her son Warren Short of Carthage.
