Tennie A. Maness, 94, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Pinelake Rehabilitation Center, Carthage, NC.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Robbins, NC. with the Reverend James Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms Maness worked as a Bookkeeper and in Office accounting for many years. She loved working in her flowers, drawing/painting and her cats. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Merritt and Lucy Garner Maness. She was preceded in death by sister: Lexie Maness Burney, brother: Wilmer Maness, nephew: Darwin Garner Maness, niece: Winifred Maness Pierce.
Tennie is survived by nephews: Merritt Maness and wife Judy, Wilmer Gray Maness, William James Burney Jr., niece: Sarah Orrock .
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
