Thelma Jane Brown, 99, died Friday, August 12, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday August 14, 2011 at Brown's Chapel Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Moore County and a Homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Harrison and Eddy Maness Moore, wife of the late Cossie Brown and was preceded in death by her daughter, Arlene Brown Page.
Surviving are three sons: Howard and wife, Mae of Robbins, Cranford and wife, Marie of Robbins, and Roger and wife, Dot of Robbins; three brothers, Kivan Moore of Westmoore, Warren Moore of Robbins, and Gilbert Moore of Robbins; two sisters, Geneva Ritter and Ruby Robbinson both of Robbins; sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, fifteen great-great- grandchildren, one step grandchild, and two step great grandchildren.
