Thelma Williams Wallace, 93 of 769 Mt. Carmel Rd. died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Unity Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Terry Warren and the Rev. Kenneth McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in Tabernacle United Methodist Church cemetery.
She was a native of Moore County, preceded in death by her husband H. Taft Wallace, was a daughter of the late Watson and Alma McLean Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Baldwin, Brothers: Donnie, Clarence and Tracy Williams. Step-mother Myra Blue Williams, and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: sons William Pete ? Wallace and wife Shirley of Westmoore and Ricky Wallace and wife Vickie of Carthage. Daughters: Vernell W. Kennedy and husband Lloyd of Carthage and Rebecca W. Gilmore and husband Sammy of Seven Lakes.
