Thomas Anthony Harmon, age 24 formerly of Carthage died, Tuesday (August 18, 2015) in Lawton, OK.

 

A graveside service with full military honors will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage conducted by the Rev. Thomas Currie. Following the service everyone is invited to the home of Billy and Patsy Salmon.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage.

 

Born in Canton, Ohio he was a son of Anthony Harmon and Susan Thornton Salmon. Thomas grew up in Carthage and graduated from Union Pines High School in 2010 where he played football all four years. He was a US Army veteran and was stationed in the United Arab Emirates during Operation Enduring Freedom. He worked for Advance Auto in Oklahoma.

 

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Susan & Sidney Salmon of Carthage, his father, Anthony Harmon of Akron, OH, a brother, Sebastian Harmon of Akron, OH and formerly of Carthage, a step-sister, Tierra Sauls of Carthage, fiance  Lindsey Blanchford; maternal grandmother, Julia Thornton of Florahome, FL, paternal grandmother, Christine Carrick Rattazzi of Atlanta, GA; paternal great grandmother Koula Bosnake Geros of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; step grandparents, Billy & Patsy Salmon of Carthage; brother in law Darrell Sauls and a niece, Ella Grace Sauls.

 

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage is serving the Harmon family.
