Todd M. Woodward

Todd Matthew Woodward, age 55 of Carthage died Thursday at his home after a battle with cancer.

 

A memorial service will be 5:00 PM Saturday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Eugene Ussery. Burial will follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:00 PM prior to the service and other times at the home.

 

A native of Davie County he was a son of the late Rodwell and Marguerite Brown Woodward. Todd graduated from Union Pines High School and worked in textiles and carpentry.

 

He is survived by his sons Nathaniel “Nathan” Woodward of Wilmington, Anthony “Tony” Woodward and wife Yamileth of Wilmington; brother Mark Woodward of Carthage; sisters Allison Speaks of Charlotte and Tanya Jordan and husband Robert of SC; step-mother Betty Whitt Hayes Woodward of Carthage;  step-sisters   Joyce Taylor, Linda Grissom and Renee Wood all of Carthage; step-brother Gary Haynes of Aberdeen.

 

Fry & Prickett Funeral Home is assisting the Woodward family.
